In the event of a claim, here is what to expect:

  1. The first notification should be by telephone or e-mail and should include the following information: Description of incident, date and time, location, estimated loss, actions being taken to minimise future loss.
  2. A conversation with us will follow (if not reported by phone
    ) to understand the claim in more detail and confirm you are ok
  3. Insurer’s Claim Form- which you will be required to fill out and return
  4. We will submit the Claim Form to the Insurer on your behalf
  5. We will negotiate any settlement of the claim with your Insurer including the arrangement of a loss assessor if applicable
  6. Prompt updates on the processing of the claim
