In the event of a claim, here is what to expect:
- The first notification should be by telephone or e-mail and should include the following information: Description of incident, date and time, location, estimated loss, actions being taken to minimise future loss.
- A conversation with us will follow (if not reported by phone
) to understand the claim in more detail and confirm you are ok - Insurer’s Claim Form- which you will be required to fill out and return
- We will submit the Claim Form to the Insurer on your behalf
- We will negotiate any settlement of the claim with your Insurer including the arrangement of a loss assessor if applicable
- Prompt updates on the processing of the claim
